A wild storm has stirred up chaos in Peniche this morning, with heavy rain and strong winds causing contest director Damien Hardman to declare a full lay-day at 8am this morning.

This year The Rip Curl Pro Search, held in Peniche, Portugal at the Supertubos (also known as the “European Pipeline”), which is a powerful A-frame barrel that handles waves up to 12-15ft (4-5m).
