Also this summer The Rip Curl & Hawaiian Tropic Girls Tour will once again be providing girls with the opportunity to try surfing for the first time, or improve on their surfing skills.

Lessons are free so anyone can join the Girls Tour. The event will be present on the beaches of Spain, France, Portugal, Italy and the UK. The lessons will be given by qualified instructors and professional Rip Curl riders. The event is of course exclusively for girls – offering inspiration and confidence to all of you who wants to try something new or enhance their technique.

This years team is Hawaii so you can also try Hula dancing classes, watch Pirogue demonstrations and learn about Rip Curl’s worldwide environmental projects, join in art workshops with this seasons Artist of the Search designer Heather Brown and meet Rip Curl’s team, including current World Junior Champ 2009 Pauline Ado and European Champion 2008 Justine Dupont.

A night of music and fun with live bands and DJ’s will be held and each girl will go home with a bag full of a girls essentials including Rip Curl treats and suncare products provided by Hawaiian Tropic. The event will integrate Rip Curl Planet initiatives: a carbon offset program, organic cotton goody bags and a full recycling arrangement.
