Red Bull released a video recently that features Sally Fitzgibbons with Sofia Mulanovich and Nadja de Col learning how to ride traditional surfboards called caballitos de totoras used by fishermen in Peru for over 3 000 years!

Those ancient surfboards are far more difficult to control than a regular surfboard. Take look at the video.
