Billabong with help of Biodroid – Portuguese game developer are creating a new surf app for the iPhone.

The game called Billabong Surf Trip allows you to visit some of the World Championship Tour locations like Mundaka, Hawaii and South Africa and it has been tested by Billabong pro surfers!

Thanks to their insight it’s one of the most realistic surf games available on the iPhone.

“The player has direct control of the board on the wave,” says Taj Burrow “You focus on pace rather than on action.”

“The player paddles in the water waiting for the right wave. At the right moment the player jumps onto the board,” says Tiago Pires an ASP top surfer who has been involved with testing Billabong Surf Trip. “The camera tracks the player as he rides the wave. The wave is dynamic and changes constantly. It’s the ultimate thrill for any die-hard surfer, nothing comes close to being in the tube!”

We can´t wait for the game to be finally available, there is nothing better than surfing the wave while you are stuck in the traffic!!!!!
