Europe’s 2012 Winter X Games kicks off on Wednesday at the infamous French Alpes Station, Tignes. Check out fun little clip supporting Roxy team riders Torah Bright, Kjersti Buaas and Aimee Fuller in their quest for an X Games medal. Go girls!

Relentless Energy have just released a short film called “The o Permanent Vocation” about Jenny Jones, the UK pro snowboarder.

The film was directed by Johannes Östergård and it tells as a story of a regular girl from Bristol becoming a pro snowboarder. Jenny reveals highs and lows of her career and follows follows the twice Winter X Games gold medallist on trips to Chile and to Mammoth, California.

“Permanent Vocation” is part of Relentless Energy’s Short Stories contest that saw four of the UK’s best young action sports filmmakers being given a £4000 budget to create a short five minute movie starring one of the brand’s athletes and to evoke their slogan of “No Half Measures”.

The winner of this contest is being decided in December and will win a further £4000.

Torah has won many titles in snowboarding including the TTR and X Games, and it seems she is just warming up.

The first Winter X Games in Europe will take place on March 10 – 12 in Tignes, France. The event will include both Ski and Snowboard Slopestyle and Superpipe contests along with Snowmobiling displays and plenty of TV crews as the event is being broadcast on both ESPN and Canal +.
