Quiksilver have just released this short surf video “Quik Pro New York Epic Edit.”

It features highlights from the ASP World Tour comp, Quiksilver Pro New York, that took place in early September at Balaram Stack in Long Beach.

But this is no ordinary bundle of snippets, it captured some of the action using an Epic Red HD Camera allowing for some super-slow motion surfing – and hula hoop spinning. Footage and edit by Vincent and Julie Kardasik.

Snowboarder and ROXY Team Rider Torah Bright walks the red carpet after getting beautiful in NYC. Armed with a microphone she also interviews star of Art of Flight, Travis Rice – her fellow snowboarder and good friend.

Friend of Roxy, Quiksilver rider Travis Rice, released his new snowboard movie in September 2011. “The Art of Flight” is a follow up from the producers of “That’s it, That’s All” and features Travis Rice along with 8 of his snowboard buddies in a global trot from Jackson Hole, Alaska, Aspen, Patagonia and to British Columbia, to name a few. We asked (more like begged and pleaded) our brothers at Quiksilver to see if they could somehow help us get into this awesome premiere.

Valentine, of Hello It’s Valentine, was the perfect way to end the Paris experience! She captured the romance of Paris in her ruby red lips and dark tresses.. (think a Parisian Snow White), and showed it off in the way she styled the Rise & Fall Jumpsuit.

She twirled and whirled herself through the streets and just as the rain began to fall, we ducked back into the Amour Hotel.

Quiksilver have just released a short video called “There’s No Waves in New York?”

The video sees the residents of the Five Borough’s giving their take on the surf potential of the city hence the title.

After seeing waves at Balaram Stack in Long Beach just 30 minutes from Manhattan it’s easy to say they are absolutely wrong.

Long Beach will be hosting ASP World Tour competition, Quiksilver Pro New York, taking place from September 1 – 8.

It will take place in Ericeira, Portugal from 14th to 19th of June Quiksilver Pro Portugal 2011. ASP men’s prime event with cash prize of 250 000$. Tiago Pires, Jeremy Flores, CJ Hobgood, Damien Hobgood (US), Patrick Gudauskas (US), Travis Logie (SA) and Josh Kerr are some of the surfers that will battle for the title. You cannot miss it!
