The DVD contains a complete learning program for kitesurfers of all levels. Starting from the chapter dedicated to the beginners with everything you should know about safety in kitesurfing and all kitesurf basics such as body drags, water stars , kite relaunch, steering and controlling your kite to riding switch and jibe.

In the section dedicated to Intermediate rider Kristin introduces us to basic tricks; from chop hop to backroll to riding blind. Everything is explained in a very clear way from the rider perspective with a slow motion part where you can follow the moves of the rider as well as the kite easily. The movie is very well divided into section so you can watch it all following the progression or simply skip to the chapter or part with the trick you want to improve.

In the third part of the movie Kristin takes you to the advanced level where you can learn how to perform unhooked tricks such as back and front rolls, kiteloops and more complicated unhooked tricks; downloop s-bend, kiteloop raley and kiteloop backrool. Every trick is illustrated in slow motion and split in parts to better show the key points.

Finally in the last, expert part you can learn tricks that require a lot of confidence and practice such as blind and wrapped tricks and also aerial handlepasses. As in previous sections all the moves are explained clearly, step by step.

Whether you want o start kitesurfing or you want to improve your level this DVD is something you should most definitely watch. Of course for the beginners some classes with an instructor are highly recommendable. If you are an intermediate or an advanced rider and want to improve you can learn a lot from this great tutorial.

How old are you and where are you from?
I am 15 and I am from Warsaw, it’s the capital city of Poland.

You started to kitesurf 3 years ago in Egypt, right? Why kitesurfing?
Yes, I started kitesurfing in Egypt , more or less 3 years ago. I saw my uncle Darius kiting and jumping very high, and I just wanted to try and do these jumps.

Where do you live right now?
I still live in Warsaw, Poland. It’s my home city.

Why PKRA and not KPWT?
I prefer PKRA’s judging , rules and level than those from KPWT.

What are you sponsors besides Nobile?
My current sponsors are Nobile, NPX and Orange Surf Team.

Favourite kites and board?
Nobile N62kite , and Nobile 666 NHP board. They are really great and I got used to using them.

Where do you usually train? How many times a week do you train?
I usually kite abroad , because the conditions in Poland are not very good. I train in a lot of different places like Brasil , Greece and Egypt, because i want to ride in all weather conditions. I usually go on one trip per month because i am still studying. Besides kiting I always try to do some exercise at home. You need that to be in shape.

With who do you usually train besides Victor Borsuk and Lukasz Cyran?
Besides those two riders that train with me I also ride with Mike Blomvall. We learn from eachother.

Who is your favourite rider? I don’ t have any favourite rider.

What is your favourite trick? Backmobe5

What is your biggest achievement until now in kitesurf? Definitely 1st place in PKRA in freestyle Germany 2009

Besides freestyle do you have any interest in other kiteboarding disciplines (race and waves) ? I started to ride on waves and i really enjoy that!

I think it’s curious that there are so many Polish girls riding so well on the international kite tours. Why do you think that happen? Do you girls ever speak about that ? Maybe because we are 100% into kitesurfing:P We love it, enjoy it, have a lot of fun doing it and we are not afraid of training hard. And yes , we have spoke about that already.
What is your favourite kitesurf spot? Can you describe the place? Definetely, Greece-Rodos. In season (june-october) the wind, which is pretty strong, is every single day, and in one place you have spot with flat water and waves so for me it’s just great!

And the most exotic place you have been kitesurfing until now? Perth, Australia.

What do you do in the winter? I practice a lot before next year’s competitions.

What do you do in your free time? Whenever I have some spare time between trainings, travels and competition I do what a normal teenager does; meet my friends, watch films and read books.

What is your biggest passion? Most definitely Kitesurfing

You are very keen on sport, what other sports do you practice? I like jogging and I practice Acrobatics, this helps me to keep myself in shape and it’s a great way to improve the technique of some freestyle tricks.

What are your plans for the next season? What are your plans for the future? Be better and better, learn new tricks and still have fun while kiting , which is the most important thing for me, finish school with good marks , learn some languages, and keep on evolving in kitesurfing.

You’re only 15 year old. Are you planning to become a professional kitesurfer?
