Soul Surfer
A short clip presenting Bethany Hamilton who after surviving a shark attack in which she lost her left arm managed to return to professional surfing. She wrote about her experience in the autobiography Soul Surfer: A True Story of Faith, Family, and Fighting to Get Back on the Board. The book later was turned into a film. Club of the Waves have just published a series of paintings from surf artist Ron Croci. The watercolors document his vacation on Hawaii. They picture amazing sights such as Kahanamoku Pond, Kaisers, Kealakokua Bay, Kona. During this beautiful trip Ron Corci however got a serious liver infection and he documented his surgery and recovery as part of the series as well.
