Brain Farm – The Art of Flight Trailer

“The Art of Flight” follows Travis Rice, John Jackson, Mark Landvik, Scotty Lago, Jake Blauvelt, Nicolas Muller, Gigi Ruf, DCP and Pat Moore as they dream up new global adventures and progress snowboarding to unimaginable levels.

The movie, filmed on location in Jackson Hole, Alaska, Chile, Aspen, Patagonia, British Columbia and more, FLIGHT brings the viewer along for the perfect blend of adventure/travel drama and high-energy snowboarding action. It releases in September 2011.

The song is a collaboration between Anthony Gonzalez from M83 and Curt Morgan from Brain Farm.

Aspen Snowmass and the Olympic Silver medalist Gretchen Bleiler are bringing back this stylin’ event for the third year in a row! CoverGirl Snow Angels Invitational that recently took place on April 2 – 4 features an all-female snowboard superpipe contest and lifestyle weekend in Aspen.

Snowmass have released this video to document the event.

Gretchen explains a little about the history of the event and introduces this year’s highlights, which are packed with girl shred action.

The 22-year old Australian, who won the X-Games in Aspen earlier this year, posted scores of 43.2 and 43.5 to easily beat nearest challengers, China’s Xuetong Cai and France’s Sophie Rodriguez. Torah Bright really produced a dominant half-pipe performance in Switzerland.
