The 24 year-old American skier kept up the good work this week-end in Bansko (Bul) ending 3rd in the Downhill on Friday and claiming her fourth consecutive win in Super G yesterday!
Once again, the skier signed great runs which allow her to extend her lead in the Overall World Cup and to win, for the second year in a row, the Downhill World Cup Globe!!!
“I am very happy with this week in Bansko despite my crash in the training. I wanted to give it all in the first Downhill on Friday. I push hard for that and a 3rd place is very nice according to the weather conditions and bad visibility. But this took me a lot of energy for the race held on Saturday. So, I just skied safe to score enough points and to ensure the Globe in the Downhill!

For today’s Super G, I knew that I had to take risks to be on the podium and to keep fighting for the World Cup standings in that discipline. It’s a little bit of surprising cause I was consistent in the Downhill and now, this is in Super G! There is 6 competitions left before the end of the season and I know I am in a good position for the Overall Globe. Next week-end in Ofterschwang will be decisive. I want to score enough points there to be more relaxed for the Finales. I feel tired but very motivated.”
