In less than one month the seventh version of the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam will take place on the Dachstein glacier.

The second November-weekend of 2009 will again open the gates of the freestyle-season. No matter if your aim is partying like mad, or longing for a relaxed freestyle weekend in the snow: At the Horsefeathers Pleasure Jam, everyone will find his/her perfect complement.
The region surrounding the Dachstein glacier is fascinating people around the globe, not only for its unique location and scenery, but first and foremost by its immense offerings in winter sports.

Supporting this reputation, the Atomic Superpark on the Dachstein glacier is without a doubt one of the best and most innovative terrain parks in Europe, opening its gates for snow-hungry skiers and boarders already in autumn and hosting enough snow until late spring.

Since 2004, QParks, the biggest quality label in the German-speaking area, has taken the Atomic Superpark Dachstein under its wings, guaranteeing excellent quality and condition of the set-up throughout the season. As usual, the team around headshaper Bernd Mandlberger will have many surprises on offer, serving all skill levels, beginners and pros likewise.

Like already in the last season, the contest is taking part in the most important series of the snowboard-scene, the Swatch TTR Snowboard Tour, with no less than 4 stars. The program promises perfect entertainment for freestyle enthusiasts and fans can get in touch with the crème de la crème of the international freestyle-circus. Those feeling not yet ready for participating in the TTR 4-star contest can show what they’ve learned in the “open-public-park”.

Also, girlpower is again an integral part of the contest. Female riders will have the chance to compete in a separate valuation for a part of the 15.000 USD and represent the highest standard in female riding.

For the exchange of stories about the most awesome rides, the meeting area provides the best surrounding.
Thereafter, a perfect round off after excessive shredding-days can be found within the daily evening program.
