Sixxa “Dia de las Perchten” Autumn/Winter Collection 2009.
Sixxa is a streetwear brand that was founded not long ago, in 2004 by Kathi Macheiner a graphic designer, snowboarder, skateboarder and surfer girl from Austria.
Since the beginning Sixxa was not suppose to be just a label. It is more a way of life, Kathi’s personal project inspired by boardsports, street art, music and pop culture. Each and every design has a personal approach, it is original and what is more important very comfortable, especially designed for active women.
“Rethink each aim” This is what makes Sixxa designs so unique!
Autumn/Winter 09 „Dia de las Perchten“ is the line inspired by Mexican Folk Culture with elements evoking “Dia de los Muertos” and other typical Mexican motives like Papel Picado decorations and la Catrina, the skeleton girl.
