Kiehl’s gives back
Kiehl’s together with Adrien Grenier, Erykah Badu, Kelly Slater, and my alma mater, Parsons have joined the initative called Kiehl’s gives back that supports a Waterkeeper Alliance. Basically, each one of them has designed a label for the Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion that both expresses the initiative of environmental responsibility and a unique personality. Check out Kelly Slater edition.
100% of the net profits from the lotion go to benefit the Waterkeeper Alliance, a foundation that protects and cleans up water worldwide. The organization will provide professional training to nearly 200 Waterkeeper Alliance groups and develop climate change and post-carbon transition strategies.
The lotion itself is a great classic body moisturizer – and now definitely worth your hard-earned money. It is available online or at Kiehl’s stores. It is obviously a must for your green beauty cabinet!!!
Who Is Waterkeeper Alliance?
The organisation was founded in 1999 by environmental attorney and activist
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and several veteran “Waterkeepers.” One of the world’s fastest
growing environmental movements—with nearly 200 Waterkeeper programs on six continents—Waterkeeper Alliance uses powerful advocacy grounded in science and law to tackle significant
local, national and international environmental issues that affect our waterways. Waterkeeper Alliance connects and supports these grassroots advocates and fights for clean water and strong communities.
