I confess, I’m not a big fan of bluetooth headsets. They just never seemed practical to me but a couple of days ago I received The Yellow Earcandy Edition Jawbone PRIME and it’s one of the most beautiful headset I have ever seen. It is contemporary, functional, comfortable and very elegant.
It is not only a functional gadget but also turned out to be an amazing fashion accessory with its sleek design and fruity colors.
I could really hardly wait for it to charge. And once I tried it, it is simply excellent!!! I didn’t have any problem in pairing it with several devices.

It has an amazing design; in fact it was featured in an exhibition at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. The whole construction of this smart device provides an extremely comfortable fit, and the Jawbone slides on and off with ease. It’s sleek but exceptionally strong and while we really enjoyed the style the real attraction is its excellent sound quality. It uses an adaptive sound technology developed at Lawrence Livermore Labs, the headset incorporates two microphones and a unique voice-activity sensor. When placed against the cheek, the special sensor of Acoustic Voice Activity Detector actually detects the vibrations produced by speech, rather than picking up the sound from your mouth and it really makes your voice sound crystal clear! Jawbone also uses adaptive system called NoiseAssassin 2.0 that captures and cancel out background noise, so incoming audio is enhanced and adjusts to the varying noise levels.

It comes in a really nice package containing: headset, Wall Charger, USB Cable, 3 Earbuds, 3 New Fit Earbuds, 1 Earloop and user’s guide that will turn out to be pretty useful even though you can intuitively figure it out yourself. It would be perfect if it also came with a useful car charger, but you can buy it separately.
The ear-buds allows you to fit the jawbone to every ear size. The internal battery allows you to speak around 4 hours and has standby for autonomy of 7 days. It charges 100% in only one hour!

During last few days we tested the Jawbone in several conditions; in the subway, on a crowded street, in the traffic and the only time it didn’t performed at 100% was at the beach with 20 knots wind speed. In all the other tests the performance was simply perfect.

The new Jawbone PRIME is available in four colors; lime, scarlet, yellow and lilac. It’s the most useful fashion accessory I have ever seen. Loved it!
