It all started with an idea, a simple one but very innovative idea of creating a piece of jewellery that would be minimalist but with countless possibilities to personalise it. That is how this extraordinary ring was created. It occurred to Cédric Chevalley, the head designer of mood on one of his journeys from Lousanne to Paris. He immediately started sketching and in no time his project had become real. Today it is known under the name “mood”

The structure of the ring is simple, almost basic but it has countless possibilities of changing it according to your mood, your clothes, the weather…. Endlessly. The steel base ring is one, it’s simple and modern and it forms a structure for the central ring that you have a total liberty of changing. The choice of a central piece is gigantic. You can give it feminine or masculine touch, choose between wood or glass and dozens of patterns, ornaments and colours the one thing that stays the same is the base.

“The design and the principle of interchangeability of mood came to my mind after several years of creating jewellery as an obvious result of my research because through this concept the owner of a mood can live with it and make it evolve with his personality, finally a piece of jewellery that can adapt itself to the personality of its owner and accompany him through his walk of life”
